Science communication skills

Science communication skills

The aim of this discipline is to empower students to the communication requirements of a successful career in science. Whereas, on one hand, communication is crucial to scientific research activity (“Publish or perish”), on the other hand, researchers are increasingly challenged to master communication skills in order to raise the impact of their research and create fruitful networks of collaborations with peers and non-peers (industry, education, policy).

We will approach scientific communication in an integrated perspective, explore its different angles and address its impact in a research career, with an emphasis in practical training of writing and presentation skills.
